Parenting Support Sessions

In connection with play therapy sessions for your child, parenting sessions provide opportunities to review treatment progress, answer questions, provide support with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges, and discuss collaboration with other providers and teachers to further support your child’s goals. Parents have the option to request sessions on an as needed basis as well as schedule recurring monthly or biweekly sessions. In collaboration with your child’s therapist, parenting support sessions can be used address a variety of concerns and challenges, including:
