About Me.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in Hoboken, New Jersey. I specialize in fertility, perinatal, and early childhood mental health care. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families from Boston College, and my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
Prior to working in private practice, I worked with teens, children, and their caregivers as they navigated some of their most stressful and vulnerable moments including family makeup changes, school anxieties, identity development, and the child welfare system. I've also worked with adults as they experience fertility challenges, miscarriages, and pre- and postpartum anxiety and depression. My work with both adults and children has given me experience with a variety of needs, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, PTSD, self-harm, OCD, and bipolar disorder. I've worked with adults and children in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient, and home-based work.
Whether working with children or adults, I strive to create an environment that feels safe to discuss, explore, and create change. I partner with my clients to help them find the strength, courage, and resiliency within themselves to overcome fears and challenges. I believe that life’s challenges are an opportunity to explore how past experiences shape present beliefs, identify new goals, and work towards living life with joy, confidence, and excitement.
Although I grew up in Massachusetts, I now think of Hoboken, NJ as my home and I love having NYC as my backyard! You can often find me soaking up everything this community has to offer, but especially at workout classes, coffee shops, or enjoying the outdoors by reading at the park.
